Vault Clothing in a Nutshell...

Vault Clothing is a London based fashion label, created in 2008 by designer Laura A Jones.
Our product is beautifully cut, stylish and cutting-edge clothing, which by combining classic and contemporary style creates a bridge between formal and casual wear.
Our innovative use of fabrics, such as joining fine wools with antique-finish waxed cottons creates a strong signature for Vault Clothing, which underpins all of our design.
Our customer is an increasing number of you, for whom conformity and the disposable nature of mass-produced; high street fashion has been replaced by a desire for unique style and timeless quality.
Vault Clothing aims to maintain an element of exclusivity for the brand by avoiding mass production and even with growth aims to maintain a more intimate service.
Our belief is that by responding to economic changes and a move towards a less wasteful way of living, Vault Clothing can achieve longevity not only in style and quality, but also by drawing on the rich source of fabrics and production close at hand and allowing for a more sustainable future.

The Journey Begins...

In January 2008 we began to build a clear picture of the type of label we were to create. Sifting through hundreds of designs and ideas, we began formulating a structure for our 1st collection and the signature of the label.
As it had always been our intention that this be a thoroughly British label, we set about researching fabric suppliers and factory production close by.
Next came the name, for which ideas ranged from the conceptually obscure to the down right obvious, but eventually we settled on Vault Clothing. Vault said to us a strong, metallic structure, inside which can be found all kinds of jewels, riches and treasured items and seemed to fit perfectly with the style and ethos behind the designs.
And next for the logo, where we sought to create a mark of quality, which should somehow contain an enigmatic timeless quality, like the label of a fine wine.

Into the Unknown...

During this past year and its adventures it became clear to us that talent, abounding enthusiasm and a very good collection alone, a successful fashion label doth not make.
That London and the UK has a growing demand for fantastic designer menswear, but has very few ways to launch it.
And thus, in the following months we aim to create our own unique launch pad for Vault, which will catapult us stylishly into our customers hearts and minds. Watch this space

Hopes and Dreams...

We believe firmly in the power of 'Brand British' appeal and that continuous evolution, together with integrity and holding firm to what you believe in, is the path to a brighter future, not only for Vault but the British clothing industry as a whole.
We aim to continue to produce all our design, patterns and sampling in our studio in East London, use only European factories for production, and source a vast majority of our fabrics from local soil as well.
We seek to gain a presence and recognition within the industry and establish brand loyalty from our customers, through continuous creative development and the love and respect for our craft.
Within the next year we will introduce our 1st womens wear range to the label, which will combine our knowledge of structural and directional tailoring with a powerful sense of feminine attitude.
Within the next two years we hope to see the opening of our 1st Vault Clothing store. Again,
